Temperature can also be regulated through smoking habits, such as how you inhale – gently or forcefully, short or long. The way you hold the doink also affects the distillation.

Meaning, if the combustion is good, there is not much left that needs to be filtered!

Black Ash can indicate that temperatures were too high, causing the plant material to combust before the essential oils were released, resulting in harmful substances. Or a temperature that is too low, preventing the full release of essential oils. Either way it was a bad combustion and waste of money.

White Ash suggests that the plant material was heated at the optimal temperature, allowing the essential oils and cannabinoids to be efficiently released without burning them. It may also indicate a higher mineral content in the plant material.

This means that with good flower, you can get both White Ash and Black Ash — it all comes down to the combustion.

If its Black Ash nomatter what, then its probably bad flower - dont smoke that boof!
